before we headed to the redwoods, we explored more of portland's shops and streets. after that, we experienced a rainy, overcast day to the redwoods. these were epic trees that were featured in star wars and planet of the apes. i hugged a tree and haven't been the same since ;)
chasing sunsets out west: oregon coast
growing up in los angeles, i never thought much of the pacific northwest, let alone portland. the coast right outside portland had some of my favorite scenes and pictures from this trip. who would have known the PNW was ample of such majestic beauty?
