ahhhhh, now that she's a married woman and the wedding has happened, i can finally post these pictures! i took these a while back at the request of vk at some woodsy trail up in the deep fields of maryland.

since i didn't get to attend her wedding this past weekend because i already committed to work at another, it was a delight and privilege to photograph vk in her dress (and her traditional vietnamese one) way before the real deal. something about a bride-to-be as calm and low-key as vk reminded me of how weddings are more than dainty lace and pretty jewels and even the couple themselves. it's a day that mirrors the love God has for his people, his creation.

i loved the results of these and am in pursuit of the next time i can do another!
